I just finished reading Had Axe. Loved it. Especially because it’s my home town! How did you ever find out about it Everything was spot on except Bad Axe being on the Lake shore. It is not. Enjoyed seeing Thorn once again , before he moves to The Villages. (hope I didn’t give away the next plot) Happy it opened with the Cuban Keywest connection had to have a little taste of Florida in it. As usual the bad guys get badder at the end one of the things I love about Hall’s writing.

Am reading Code Name Helene, based on true story about Australian woman who worked with French Resistance, very good.

Hi, Jimmy. I’m reading “Bad Axe” right now so I really enjoyed this blog. Also, Charlie, who has a memory like an elephant (not sure why elephants are known to have good memories), reminded me we had driven through Bad Axe, MI several times when visiting friends at their summer home on Lake Huron in the mid 1980s. He also remembered while we were the Hoptown tigers, in Bad Axe they were the hatchets. If Covid19 allows it, we hope to see you at our 55th high school reunion! Teresa Wallace

I preordered my hard copy! I still prefer to have the actual book in my hands. I cannot wait! I love all of the Thorn books! I feel that since Blackwater Sound each Thorn book has gotten better and better(if that’s even possible). You are my favorite author by far. Keep up the good work!
